Learning to let go
-----------Of yesterday--------of the past-----a past--Atlaas
Offered a glass, of cool water to now
Embraced it. Kept it. Stayed in it's company.
It "takes time", they say
"Not overnight", they say
"Patience!", they say
..................... A patient of patience, I say
We break up to make up, like the Stylistics sang
Today Is a new day
11 is the number played
An end to my woes
Saved
I don't walk on eggshells no more
Too many cuts & scars on that floor
Made a truce with healing
Sun rising
It has begun
Walking on tumbled crystals, each, one by one
No dream of mine is to deep to reach
Too low to seek
Too much to keep
Too blind to see
My wildest dream
Seeing Mother-Earth on her side, smiling in all shades of green
So..ul cleanse me from all the negativity I may have projected, injected or accepted
Inordinance stands only to be abjected

And God, The Ever Present, Loves A Love True.
A love that’s true is true because That Love Is His..
There’s choices that we make. Then there’s seduction
Flirtatious pressure, pleasure savored without thought.
There’s love of God, and Right and less than that’s reduction.
True Love within His Will is what is sought.
The moments come and go. But, darlin, now’s forever.
True love is now, and now forever stays.
And time and space will end within a moment.
But love endures forever in God’s Ways.
Who can make a heart turn towards forever?
What gift, what word can cause one’s pride to fall…
To fall into the role where souls endeavor
To harken to The Lover’s beck and call?
What’s possible is sharing, caring, living
Unselfishly for God’s sake and no more.
For only lovers love the act of giving.
And those who give to get don’t know the score.
It’s not possible to make a person love you
“The Thing” that is exists because God Says it is.
And God, The Ever Present, Loves A Love True.
A love that’s true is true because That Love Is His.
